About

about unwrinklingUnwrinkling exists to engage fashion in a way that doesn’t embarrass God or thinking people.

Unwrinkling was founded on the belief that fashion need not be dismissed by those with high intellectual and theological standards, but was born out of frustration with the lack of resources equipping people to do so. It signifies both a personal journey and an attempt to create material that might spark dialogue about the intersection of clothing and faith. As a result, Unwrinkling aims to grapple with problematic issues inherent in the fashion industry and daily dressing, while still celebrating the beauties of both.

Unwrinkling is written and photographed by Whitney Bauck. Whitney is an assistant editor at Fashionista.com, and has contributed to The New York Times, The Washington Post, Billboard, Christianity Today, The Hollywood Reporter, Relevant, Prism Magazine, Wheaton Magazine and Worn Through. All copy and photos were created by and belong to the author, unless otherwise noted.
